Professional Background:
Cara works in outpatient Physical Therapy at the Cleveland Clinic as a Senior Physical Therapist and Center Coordinator for Clinical Education. She has been employed at the Cleveland Clinic since 2001.
Education:
Cara earned a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts from Miami University in 1998. In 2000 she earned her Masters in Physical Therapy from MCH Hahnemann University in Philadelphia.

Rowing Background:
Cara joined WRRA and started rowing in SRL in 2003. From 2005-2009 she rowed with the WRRA’s Masters/Competative Program and in 2010 rowed with an independent crew. Her rowing achievements include gold medals at FISA World Masters and US Rowing Masters Nationals. She has also raced at the Head of the Charles.

Cara has held a number of positions within WRRA including being the Masters/Competitive Team Captain (2009), WRRA Board of Directors (2008), WRRA Membership Chairperson (2007), WRRA FRL Committee (2005). She has also been involved with the HOTC since 2009 and last year took over as the regatta director for the event.
Cara is a CQL-1 and has taken the US Rowing Level I Coaching Certification. She coached her first FRL crew in 2011.
