Professional Background:
Gia is a financial analyst at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey L.L.P.

Education:
Gia graduated from John Carroll University with a BA in Economics. She is currently working on her MBA in finance at The University of Akron.

Rowing Background:
Seeing an eight-man shell on display at John Carroll University peaked Gia's interest about rowing. Unwilling to give up sleep for early morning practices she decided rowing was not for her. A Learn to Row sign posted at work gave her the opportunity to try this sport about which she had been curious. Gia started rowing in the WRRA Summer Rowing League before joining the Masters program.

Gia became CRF’s Treasurer in 2010 and that same year Gia received the CRF Burning Blade award for her tireless work to ensure CRF’s cashflow could finance the purchase of the Rivergate Park parcel.  

Community Involvement:
Gia also serves on the Board of Directors for Legacy in Education.
