Cleveland Metroparks will be acquiring the 2.4 acres at Rivergate in August 2012.  

Please contact Cleveland Metroparks Institute of the Great Outdoors (IGO) program (216-341-1704) regarding kayaking at the site after August 1st.  Limited programming will be offered through IGO in the Summer of 2012. 

The Cuyahoga River is a federal navigation channel with commercial traffic daily. Safe river operations are CRF's paramount concern. Due to these safety concerns, private kayak owners may NOT launch from the Rivergate Park facility at this time.
